US: Photography of digital files is typically not sales-taxable in most states. Tangible prints often are. Set tax rate per invoice. See US sales tax guide.
UK: If VAT-registered, charge 20% standard rate. Below £90,000 threshold, leave at 0%. See UK VAT guide.
India: SAC code 998722 for photography services. Standard 18% GST for registered businesses.
Australia: 10% GST if registered (over AUD $75,000). Tax invoice format includes ABN.
Canada: GST/HST per province. Most photography services are taxable.

How does VioBusiness compare to HoneyBook, Studio Ninja, or Tave?

Those are dedicated photographer CRMs with lead pipelines, client portals, online questionnaires, gallery delivery, and AI-assisted workflow. They cost $40-$90/month. Can I customise my contract template?

VioBusiness's Contract document is structured (intro, scope, timeline, terms) and editable per contract. You'd write your contract terms once and reuse them as a template by copy-paste from a previous contract. For dozens of variations on the same template, a dedicated photographer CRM may serve better.

What about deposit and final invoice tracking?

Each invoice is tracked separately. Most photographers create a deposit invoice (with a description like "30% deposit - Smith Wedding 12 June 2026"), mark it paid when received, then create the final invoice closer to the date.

Can I send international clients?
